Relaxation Techniques

If you don’t have much time in your day, you can use the convenient ‘Relax Now’ techniques to help reduce anxiety or stress while not taking up too much of your time. The makers also offer “Deep Breathing’ methods to relax you in sudden, stressful moments. From a physical standpoint, ‘Muscle Relaxation’ teaches you how to allow your body to unwind after a stressful day. To promote optimism, ‘Visualization’ teaches you to embrace your future. The ‘Guided Meditations’ section encourages mindfulness through a guided, calming journey.

 

Mood/Health Tracking

Since your input is essential to effectively managing anxiety and/or depression, Sanvello allows you to ‘Rate Your Mood’ throughout your day. You can enter your specific feelings, details, and context through ‘Mood Journaling’. Be sure to stay on track of your feelings, made easier with the ‘Daily Reminders’ feature. Your specific diet and lifestyle choices will differ from others, so Sanvello allows to ‘Track Your Health’ habits such as exercise, sleep, and caffeine. You can even set personalized ‘Health Goals’ based on your lifestyle. A convenient mood chart lets you ‘See Your Progress’ and improve your mood.

 

Guided Self-Health Paths

Engage in cognitive behavioral therapy to manage strong emotions by recording ‘Your Thoughts’ and discovering patterns through your ‘Thought Diary’. You can also learn to recognize fearful thoughts and ‘Find Cognitive Distortions’ while working towards ‘Your Goal’ of reducing anxiety or improving your overall health and mood. Every day you can accomplish small goals through ‘Daily Experiments’ and choose from the ‘Experimental Library’.

 

Peer Support Community

The app is great since it has the option of offering self-help techniques to anyone who needs it. With this, it is much easier to heal and grow in your journey without feeling castigated. If one is perhaps scared of speaking with therapists this has the potential to really help them... Mental health problems are hindering people's productivity, making it difficult for them to grow and become who they were meant to be. Anyone dealing with mental health issues will probably gain after using this app. Highly recommend!

Cons

The only issue for me was that I couldn't access all the features of this app without paying for the premium subscription.

Cool app for tracking moods and helping to combat the big dark cloud of depression. Sanvello allows you to track your feelings, offers self-help approaches, and encourages written reflection techniques. A nice little friend for when times feel tough.

This a really good app for managing stress and anxiety - it has a ton of features and I'm actually considering downloaded the full version which is a pretty unheard of decision for me, but I think this app is going to add enough value to my life. It's got a lot of cognitive behavioural therapy techniques which is really spot on for me, as that's what I'm working through with my therapist so it's a great support in that respect. I also love the fact that there's a community of like-minded and equally stressed or anxious users! I give it 5 stars.

Pros

Love the user interactions, and I love the fact that this app seems like it's made by people who really understand how to treat stress and anxiety.

None that I can think of!

Sanvello allows you to track your feelings and offers a self-help approach. It has provided me with a good framework by guiding me to overcome stress, depression and anxiety disorder. I have also come to set my goals which has helped me to stay focused. I don't need to pay for a therapist anymore, with this app I can ask for help and get answers.

This is a great way to access help without having to go out to a therapist.

Great stress management tools! The opening motto 'Habits for a healthy mind and more than just meditation,' sums up what the app is about and basically exactly what I'm looking for. One particular feature that really does it for me is the ability to track my moods and 'label' my emotion, so I can consciously process what I'm going through and when. I'm an aesthetics guy, so also really appreciate the fact that the background colors / images are totally customizable.

Pros

There are a lot of great features here. I struggle constantly with stress and anxiety so I love the whole 'mood diary' feature so that I don't have to exist on an emotional autopilot where breakdowns are around the corner. I also really appreciate the community section - its always helpful to not feel alone.

Cons

I always prefer it when apps don't ask me to sign in. You also have to pay if you want to access all of the features - although the free version is great.

Sanvello is a really well thought out and useful app. It provides a good framework to guide you through therapy for stress, depression and anxiety disorders. The multiple alternatives it incorporates makes it an essential tool to have to keep stressful emotions on check

This application is great for many reasons... one, you can set goals on there to help stay focus. Second, it will suggest a time of day to check in on you and see how things are going. That is a good reminder about staying focused. Lastly, no one has access to your information. It is very secured. I highly recommend.

Very user friendly. I am not tech-savvy but this app is not complicated... so everyone or anyone can get it.

Not much really... app is easy to navigate.
